The once traditional celluloid capture techniques that require a telecine or film scanner workflow for post-production is being replaced with data-centric workflow that uses a Digital Intermediate approach for all forms of post-production.

The inevitable growth in Digital Cinematography is a game changer for most post production houses.  Along with it’s introduction comes changes with the workflow in order to ultilize the aquisition format’s utmost potential.  These changes are embraced by some and ofcourse, it leaves much to be desired for the ones who invested millions on their celluloid handling facility.  Digital format is here to stay and further down the road expect to see a vast improvement on this format.  It is easier on post but requires some technicalities with the workflow in order to produce best results.
